Client Browsers

  • The following browsers completely support all features of iWebPress
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.0, 5.5, and 6.0 for Windows.
    • The latest version of Netscape Navigator & Mozilla (Firefox, Camio, et cetera).
  • The following browsers support most functionality of iWebPress
    • Safari

Customers are highly encouraged to utilize the cross platform Mozilla or Netscape browser.

Safari and any browser written on top of Apple's Web Framework cannot utilize the WYSIWYG editor.  An alternate, text-based editor is available.  Apple users are encouraged to try Mozilla Firefox or Camino, lightweight browsers which run comparable to Safari, and are much more compatible with many web sites.
